What apartment sizes are available?
Residences at Malden Station offers studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments across two distinct buildings. Apartment homes range from approximately 407 to 1,232 square feet. Select residences feature high ceilings, oversized windows, exposed architectural details, fireplaces, balconies, and kitchen islands. Current floor plans and availability can be viewed through our online leasing portal.
What is required to apply?
Applicants must complete an online application and provide a valid photo ID, proof of income, and authorization for a credit and background check. Applicants generally should have a household income of approximately three times the monthly rent. Please contact the leasing office for complete application requirements before applying.
Is parking available?
Yes, parking is available for residents. Please contact the leasing office for current parking options, availability, and associated fees.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, Residences at Malden Station is a pet-friendly community. Residents may have one dog and one cat, or two cats, per apartment. Pet rent is $75 per month for dogs and $50 per month for cats. A full month's security deposit is required for pet owners. Weight and breed restrictions apply. Please contact the leasing office for complete pet policy details before applying.
What makes the historic building unique?
One of our two buildings is a fully renovated historic landmark featuring exposed brick, original architectural details, oversized arched windows, and ceilings up to 14 feet in select apartment homes. It offers a unique living experience that combines historic character with modern apartment amenities.
How close is the property to the Orange Line?
Malden Center Station is approximately a 4-minute walk from the community. From there, Downtown Crossing is about 20 minutes away by train, making Residences at Malden Station one of the most transit-accessible apartment communities north of Boston.
Do I need renters insurance?
Yes, renters insurance is required for all residents. Please confirm minimum coverage requirements with your leasing agent before move-in.
What attractions and destinations are near Residences at Malden Station?

How do I pay rent?
Rent can be paid online through the Resident Portal at residencesatmaldenstation.loftliving.com. Residents can also use the portal to manage their account and communicate with the management team.
How do I report a maintenance issue or emergency?
Routine maintenance requests should be submitted through the Resident Portal. For after-hours emergencies, residents can contact the emergency maintenance line at 855 684-0476, which is available 24 hours a day. Lock-out assistance is also available, and a $50 service fee applies.
What amenities are available to residents?
Residents enjoy access to a 24-hour fitness center, game room, rooftop lounges, resident clubhouse, package lockers, controlled-access entry, Wi-Fi in common areas, and online rent payment services. The Northern Strand Community Trail is also located nearby.
What are the fitness center hours?
The fitness center is available 24 hours a day for residents. Access requires a resident key fob, which can be obtained through resident services.
How do I receive community updates and notifications?
Residents receive important community announcements, property updates, and management communications through the Resident Portal and other communication channels provided by the management team.
